Boundary Magazine
I designed a 28 page magazine publication called 'Boundary' which was a cricket based printed publication featuring a variety of stories, information and interviews. Throughout the design process of this magazine I experimented with a variety of design layouts to successfully organise selected information, whilst I learnt the importance of parent pages, paragraph and characters styles and much more. The Boundary magazine had a clear brand identity which used a bright blue colour, bold typeface and arrow element which I utilised throughout the many pages of the printed publication, however this changed throughout the 'Remembering Warne' section.
The late Shane Warne had recently passed away when I was in the process of designing this magazine so I felt that it was fitting to make reference to the incredible spin bowler, who was highly regarded in the cricketing community. To add separation to the rest of the magazine I opted for a green based colour palette to represent his Australian roots and changed the typeface to a serif font.
Deliverables: Printed magazine publication and full brand identity.
